To shuck an oyster, place it on a clean towel to keep it from slipping. With a glove, firmly hold the shell and insert the shucking knife into a small hinge crack. Afterward, twist the knife to pop the shell open. Once the top shell is off, use the knife to cut the muscle that holds the oyster in place. Finally, lift out the oysters and enjoy the fresh and briny goodness of the pristine Little Wicomico River!
