My sons and their significant others all came to visit and stay with us in Northern California for the holidays and ironically we live on the Pacific Ocean and near some well regarded (and somewhat overpriced and overhyped) commercial oyster companies ! We have had wonderful experiences previously with ordering oysters from Little Wicomico in the past so when we had some holiday parties to celebrate I didn’t hesitate to order 350 (way too many!) blackberry oysters that arrived as planned right before new years, packed very well, ice cold and when all was said and done with only about 7-10 of the total 350 oysters that we tossed because they were damaged or seemingly not alive when we shucked them. Briny, fresh tasting and delicious both eaten raw and roasted and baked with a simple butter and garlic and paprika compound butter on top ! We are impressed and very satisfied with the personal service, attention to quality and highly professional service ! Plus they were priced fairly for the quality offered. We plan to be repeat customers and look forward to many more later parties at our home in The Sea Ranch in Sonoma county, Northern California.
