These oysters are raised in bottom cages inshore near the Blackberry Hang Oyster Reef in the Chesapeake Bay. These unique treasures are overgrown for a larger, meatier oyster. Probably some of the plumpest meatiest oysters I have ever eaten. Delicious, albeit, some were challenging to open, but all in all, very enjoyable and delicious. Reminded me of when I was inNew Orleans with my dad in 1967. Big juicy oysters. Highly recomended. You pay $3-$4 bucks a piece for these in a restaurant.

The Blackberry Reserves are the best I've ever had! On my 3rd order and never disappoint. Size is just right, not too big but not small. Nice, juicy brine on the front end.
