Oysters for breakfast? Better believe it! As the cooler mornings start to creep in, we think fondly of cozy mornings here on the homestead. We had to dig out this family recipe for one of our favorite hearty oyster breakfasts served over toast which dates back to 1980 – Oysters Cock-a-Cilla.

This oyster recipe features garlic and parsley compound butter for a super simple but oh-so-flavorful and beautiful dish. We used our frozen oysters here, but you can use any of our fresh-caught oysters to make this tasty treat.
